our Story

Here at Ric’s Burgers & Grill we’re big on the less-is-more, no-fuss approach when it comes to our burgers and steaks. We’re a family owned and operated business devoted to running a place which supports the kinship of our local neighbours and communities. We’re also not big fans of the frozen stuff. That’s why all of our ingredients are sourced sustainably and ethically from Victorian farms and local suppliers. Our beef burgers are sourced from 100% grass-fed Black Angus, from the Habbies Howe farm located locally in the Victorian Highlands. We work with our local bakers to handcraft our sourdough rolls, which are made from 100% organic stone-milled wheat flour. Even our chips are hand-cut daily using premium Kennebec potatoes sourced from the Hawkes farm on the Mornington Peninsula.
Because we’re all about the mouth-watering flavours that a roaring woodfire grill brings out, all of our burgers, steaks, and Kranksy sausages are cooked over red-hot embers powered by sustainably sourced Redgum wood. For our vegetarian community we offer a range of plant-based and meat free options, because we don’t want anyone to miss out on the tantalising experience of wood-fired cuisine. We also will soon be offering gluten-free options, which can be paired with any of the above. To quite literally top it all off, we have a range of home-made sauces and relishes available. You’re always welcome to come in, sit down, and enjoy a meal, however, we do offer take away and delivery via both Menu Log and Uber Eats for when just want to enjoy your humble burger in the comfort of your own home.
